Egg Liqueur balls

Last modified:

Eggs liquer balls are fine, elegant and they fit perfectly in Christmas time, this is why I added them on my Christmas cookies list. I discovered first time this recipe here in Germany, but I have no idea where this recipe is originally from. These eggs liquer balls are also excellent as a gift: just add them in a fancy glass or box and add a bow.

If you want to make a children friendly version of these eggs liquer balls just replace the eggs liquer with aproximative 60 ml of freshly squeezed orange juice and add a little bit of orange zest for extra flavour.

If you do not like almonds or anyone has allergy to almonds, this eggs liquer balls recipe also tastes great with coconut flakes. (the same amount)
